"The Panthers could be without two of their top tailbacks today in their second exhibition game at Miami.

Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson missed Thursday's walkthrough with Achilles injuries they sustained this week in Spartanburg. Panthers coach Ron Rivera said both are questionable for the Dolphins' game.

If they can't play, third-year back Tyrell Sutton and former practice squad member Josh Vaughan are expected to receive the carries after starter DeAngelo Williams.

The Panthers are missing several starters, including linebacker Jon Beason (Achilles tendinitis), offensive linemen Jeff Otah (knee) and Geoff Schwartz (hip) and fullback Tony Fiammetta (neck). Defensive end Greg Hardy, who has yet to practice following a motorcycle wreck last month in Tennessee, remains out."
