"Steven Jackson has had some good moments against Washington over the years, including a pair of 100-yard rushing games, a 100-yard receiving game and three touchdowns. And there have been times in those games when the Redskins defense didn't look too anxious to tackle him.

The Pro Bowl running back would like to add a few more memories into his Redskins 'scrapbook" this Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome. Although still listed as limited participation on the Rams' official injury report, Jackson said there's no mystery to his playing status this week. He's playing, and he's hoping for a bigger workload.

"Absolutely," Jackson said after practice Thursday. "I'm definitely hoping that last week to this week will change drastically in my playing time. But ultimately we've got to do what's best for the team and whatever the game situation presents. I'm definitely preparing myself to be out there quite a bit.""
