"Suns point guard Steve Nash will not play Monday night at Houston and might miss Wednesday's game at New Orleans, too.
Nash had his doubts Sunday about being able to play even with some progress on Sunday but he was ruled out for the Rockets' game. He is traveling with the team but the Wednesday game that he felt optimistic about is now also in question.
Missing the game at New Orleans, a team the Suns are trying to catch, would push Nash's return back to Friday's home game against Golden State.
Nash has been limited by pubic symphysis irritation for almost three weeks but it became painful on the Suns' previous road trip and it worsened as he tried to play through the injury, which was listed officially Sunday as "pelvic instability.""
