"Steve Hutchinson apparently has decided he wants to play one more NFL season.

Now the question is, do the Minnesota Vikings want him?

Hutchinson, 34, has suffered season-ending injuries two consecutive years -- a broken thumb in 2010 and a concussion in 2011 that left his future up in the air.

But like teammate Husain Abdullah, who said on Monday he plans to resume his career after being cleared by two concussion specialists, Hutchinson has decided to press on.

"He's doing fine," coach Leslie Frazier said, shortly after the North team wrapped up its first practice of Senior Bowl week."
