Steelers sign Cotchery

" The Steelers today agreed to a one-year deal with former New York Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery.

Cotchery had visited the Steelers training camp earlier in the week but left without a contract. He is expected to fill a reserve role with the team, most likely as their fifth receiver behind Hines Ward, Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown.

The Jets released Cotchery, 29, last week. Cotchery was drafted by the Jets in the fourth round out of North Carolina State in 2004. He has 353 career catches for 4,474 yards and 18 touchdowns. "
