"Robert Morris University will announce today that former Steelers defensive lineman John Banaszak is the Colonials football coach-in-waiting.

Robert Morris coach Joe Walton announced he will retire after the 2013 season, his 20th as the team's head coach.

Banaszak has been on Walton's staff for nine seasons and is the assistant head coach. Before joining Walton, Banaszak was the head coach at Washington & Jefferson College for four years, compiling an impressive 38-9 record."
