Anthony Steen, the Dolphins’ starting left guard, had surgery on his injured foot and will be out indefinitely.

In Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, Steen was replaced by Jesse Davis, a versatile but undrafted first-year player from Idaho.

Another player who might soon be in the mix is veteran Ted Larsen, a free-agent pickup this offseason who is coming off a torn biceps but is expected to practice next week. He started the season on injured reserve.
