Stars are making Kari Lehtonen work too hard

"In addition to being a terrible strategy for winning a hockey game, allowing 40 shots a night probably isn't the best idea when your goalie has a history of injuries.

Kari Lehtonen has been amazing so far. After stopping 39 of 44 shots Monday in a 5-4 loss to Tampa Bay, he has a 2.91 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.

Think about those numbers. He has given up almost three goals a game, and yet he is this team's hero because of all of the goals he has prevented. Lehtonen is facing 38 shots per game, second only to Anaheim's Jonas Hiller, and that is a very bad trend. "
