Nebraska wide receiver Brandon Reilly was stopped early Friday while driving and ticketed on suspicion of drunken driving by the Lincoln Police Department.

According to an LPD police report, at 2:11 a.m. Friday, an officer observed a black 2007 Hyundai Sonata traveling northbound on Interstate 180 going an estimated 65 mph in a 60-mph zone. The driver, Reilly, then turned right onto Superior Street without signaling the turn. An officer conducted a traffic stop shortly thereafter, and, upon contact with the 22-year-old Reilly, the officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol. Reilly took a standard field sobriety test, then was transported to a health center for testing. There, Reilly’s blood alcohol content measured .150, or nearly twice the legal limit of .08.

Reilly was ticketed on suspicion of first offense DUI, negligent driving and failure to signal. He had two passengers in the car, and a friend picked them up at the location of the traffic stop.
