"Spurs assistant general manager Dennis Lindsey remains the most likely person in the Spurs' organizational structure to get a promotion with another team.

Lindsey is one of four finalists for the vacant Toronto Raptors' general manager position after having been mentioned for several positions around the league in the last several seasons.

Lindsey is one of the most respected management types in the NBA and has learned well under Gregg Popovich and R.C. Buford during his five seasons with the Spurs. Earlier, he was with Houston for 11 seasons, finishing his tenure there as the team's director of player personnel.
