Instead of again summarily ruling the bulky veteran center out of Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers at AmericanAirlines Arena, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra left the door ajar after Wednesday's practice.
"Possibly," Spoelstra said, with the bulk of Andrew Bynum looming. "I'll reevaluate day to day. If it doesn't happen tomorrow or this week, it's soon."
Curry, 29, has not appeared in an NBA game since Dec. 17, 2009, when he was with the New York Knicks. Since then, conditioning issues and injuries have sidetracked the No. 4 overall selection in the 2001 NBA Draft."
