Giants interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo reiterated his will to be the team's permanent head coach following New York's 3-13 season.
"It's always been something in my heart for a long time," Spagnuolo said, according to NJ.com's James Kratch.
Spagnuolo said he has not yet set up a meeting with new GM Dave Gettleman to discuss a time to coordinate an interview for the permanent job, instead saying the two of them "have just been focusing on getting to this year-end meeting.
"We knocked that out and boom, I'm right here," Spagnuolo told Kratch. "So I don't have anything to report on that end."
