White Sox shortstop and Cuban native Alexei Ramirez believes an apology by former Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is a major move toward quelling the anger directed toward Guillen over his comments that initially professed admiration for Cuba dictator Fidel Castro.
"Apologizing is definitely a big first step," Ramirez said Monday. "Again, I feel everyone has their opinion. But I also feel people should be forgiven. So if he's going to apologize, I feel that hopefully he'll be accepted."
