The Red Sox will look to get closer Koji Uehara more game work in the final week and a half. In recognition of his workload last fall and his age, the Sox have been careful with the amount of exposures he's had to date. He's pitched in just four games so far.

"He'll be back on the mound Saturday," said John Farrell, "and probably get three more appearances next week. We feel that he's getting plenty of rest, but his arm's in good shape."

Until now, Uehara has pitched earlier in games to face more major league hitters, since teams often finish games mostly with minor leaguers in the lineup.
