Much like his season, last night's game against the Detroit Tigers was a roller coaster for Josh Beckett.
The Red Sox starter was dominant in the early going, but his night came to a premature end due to a back spasm in the third inning. The beleaguered right-hander was booed by the Fenway Park crowd as he left the mound.
Despite the sour end to Beckett's outing, the Sox extended their winning streak to four games with a rain-shortened 4-1 victory over the Tigers.
