"The New Orleans Saints tried out former Miami Dolphins tight end Mickey Shuler, according to a league source.

Shuler played collegiately at Penn State.

The son of former New York Jets All-Pro tight end Mickey Shuler Sr., Shuler is a 6-foot-4, 251-pound former Minnesota Vikings seventh-round draft pick.

Shuler was claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 4, but didn't pass his physical. "
