"The Ravens will have to find a new backup for Joe Flacco.
Marc Bulger, 34, who was the Ravens' No. 2 quarterback, last year, has decided to retire after 11 NFL seasons and two Pro Bowls, a league source confirmed.
The Ravens signed Bulger to a one-year, $3.8 million contract as insurance to Flacco. He didn't play a snap in the regular season.
According to a league source, Bulger received offers from other teams this offseason but he chose not to pursue them.
The only quarterbacks on the Ravens' roster are: Flacco, Tyrod Taylor, a rookie sixth-round pick; and Hunter Cantwell, a practice squad player from last year. Flacco has never missed a start in his three-year NFL career."
