Manager Dale Sveum said Monday he's not considering lowering No. 5 hitter Alfonso Soriano in the batting order, despite his lack of power.

Soriano, who came into Monday's game with a .304 slugging percentage, started the season as the cleanup hitter before moving down for Bryan LaHair.

"We don't really have anyone else to put in that spot," Sveum said. "It's just a matter of getting hot. We talk about the home runs, but it doesn't have to be home runs. Those doubles and those occasional home runs are nice, but it's just a matter of driving the runs in and doing a lot of things when the top of the order gets on base."
