LSU's football team has reeled in another college transfer, this time nabbing a commitment from North Carolina State freshman tight end Thaddeus Moss, who is on his official visit to Baton Rouge this weekend.

"I just committed to Coach O," Moss said. "He was ready for it. They are definitely really excited for me right now."

Moss arrived in Baton Rouge on Saturday morning, taking in the LSU Spring Game before meeting back up with the staff on Sunday morning. After breakfast and a meeting with head coach Ed Orgeron, the NC State freshman - who announced his transfer plans earlier this month - decided he was ready to pull the trigger and become a Tiger.

"Its been fantastic, actually," Moss said. "Just getting into the stadium and getting a feel for how it’s going to be, and spending time with Coach O and Coach Ensminger and Coach Canada, it's all been great.

"I love Coach O. I love his energy. He’s all about his players. He really incorporates a family environment. I really like that. And it's been great getting to know Coach Ensminger. He has a great background, and he’s been around the game a long time."

While Moss was sold on Orgeron and Ensminger, the biggest connection came with Canada, who recruited him during his time at NC State and then again at Pittsburgh prior to his arrival at LSU.
