The Bruins just finished up with Media Day here at TD Garden and there were a few newsy tidbits to come out of the season.

David Krejci who suffered back spasms on Friday in Saskatoon skated for the first time since the injury. He said he'll be a game-time decision but that his back has improved. As he said "Every single day I woke up it felt much better. I'm expecting to get better again tomorrow and hopefully I'll be good to go."

Carl Soderberg meanwhile will not play on Thursday against the Lightning. The winger was placed on injured reserve after Friday's game so he's not eligible to play. He would be eligible for Saturday's game but there's no sense of whether he would be ready for that. “It felt really bad after the game. It’s felt much better every day” Soderberg said. As for when he could return “I have no idea” he said. “It feels much better so we will see. We can take a couple of days but we have no idea.” Jordan Caron has skated with the third line in his place for the last couple of days.
