"Simple math says Roy Williams should be catching more passes. But as the number of Cowboys receivers dwindle, Williams' numbers are dropping, too.
He can go no lower than the last two games. After missing the Washington game with a strained groin, he had no catches against Arizona.
Williams knows those numbers don't add up to the $20.4 million owed him the next three seasons. And because of that, he knows Sunday's game against Philadelphia could be his last with Dallas.
"I can only do what I can do," Williams said. "Started off nice and then fell off the face of the earth somehow.
"I want to be here. If not, I will be somewhere else."
Since Jon Kitna replaced Tony Romo at quarterback during the sixth game of the season, Williams has 15 receptions for 218 yards. He has had more than two catches only once. In the first five games, he had 21 receptions.
Rookie Dez Bryant suffered a season-ending injury against Indianapolis on Dec. 5. Then Kevin Ogletree was lost for the season. On Wednesday, Sam Hurd and Jesse Holley were unable to practice. The Cowboys signed Jeff Moturi, who played at UTEP, to the practice squad, releasing defensive end Alex Daniels to make room. "
