"Continuing our look at NBA free agency and the Trail Blazers, we turn today to former Blazers forward and unrestricted free agent, Josh McRoberts.
The former second round pick by Portland had a career year in his fourth NBA season, averaging 7.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 22 minutes per game (51 starts) with the Indiana Pacers. He holds career averages of 5.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in just over 15 minutes a game.
The Pacers have young talent in the frontcourt with Tyler Hansbrough at power forward and Roy Hibbert at center, and with plenty of cap space the front office -- which now includes former Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard (the man who drafted McRoberts) -- will likely be looking to upgrade at the four. "
