Our weekly look at the Detroit Tigers:

Who's hot: Jhonny Peralta is having an excellent season offensively and has been especially good lately. He is hitting .370 (20-for-54) with eight RBIs and seven runs scored in his past 13 games despite striking out 14 times during that stretch. Peralta leads American League shortstops in hits, batting average, slugging percentage and OPS.
Who's not: Omar Infante is hitting .143 (4-for-28) with one RBI and two runs scored in his past seven games. His average has fallen from .323 to .294 in the past 10 days.

Injury update: Austin Jackson (pulled left hamstring) should start a rehabilitation assignment this week barring any unforeseen setbacks. He has been on the disabled list since May 12. Octavio Dotel (elbow inflammation) has been on the disabled list for about six weeks now.
