If things go according to plan, the Clippers have more guards than they need on most nights.
But when things go like they did Tuesday, the Clippers suddenly have a shortage in the backcourt.

Jamal Crawford wasn't with the team Tuesday and Eric Bledsoe was out because of a calf injury, turning a surplus quickly into a shortage.
"Other guys have to step up," Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro said. "It changes our rotations a little bit."
Crawford hasn't been with the team the past couple of days as he returned to Seattle to be with his fiancé for the birth of their daughter, London, on Monday.
The team took a photo after Tuesday's shootaround with the message "Welcome to the Clipper family London!" and second-year forward Trey Thompkins posted it on Twitter.
Crawford later tweeted, "Clippers organization from top to bottom is the best, never wanna play anywhere else..#honestmoment #family."
Crawford will join the team in Indianapolis before Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
Bledsoe's reason for missing Tuesday's game, though, wasn't anything to celebrate.
Bledsoe has been dealing with soreness in his left calf and after the Clippers' loss to San Antonio, the third-year guard was hurting.
