On Tuesday, he had to stare in the stands for quite a while. The shootout went to six rounds before the Canucks' Alex Edler ended it by scoring between the legs of goaltender Pekka Rinne for a 4-3 Vancouver victory.
Rinne allowed two scores, the other coming to Alex Burrows on a backhand. Nashville scored once, on a backhand attempt by David Legwand.
"It's goalie against a shooter, and we both have a chance," Rinne said. "I wasn't happy with those two goals I gave up.""
