No matter where Shin-Soo Choo plays next year, he needs to find a way to hit left-handers again. If not, his value will decrease should the Indians try to trade him or when he becomes a free agent after the 2013 season.

Choo is hitting .175 (31-for-177) with eight doubles, two homers and six RBI against lefties this year. He's a totally different hitter against right-handers, batting .322 (118-for-366) with 29 doubles, two triples, 13 homers and 50 RBI.

"He's going to have to find a way," said manager Manny Acta. "He's either going to have to back off the plate a little bit or check out his stride. . .to see where he's striding to.
