"The Mavericks found somebody in even sadder shape than they were Sunday night: the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The LeBron James era seems like a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. These days, the Cavaliers aren't very good at full strength. And when they're missing three of their top players, they are simply a mess – or a thing of beauty for a victory-starved team like the Mavericks.

Shawn Marion returned to the lineup and DeShawn Stevenson and Tyson Chandler had strong nights to help the ailing Mavericks end their season-worst three-game losing streak with a 104-95 slap of the Cavaliers.

Stevenson had a season-best 21 points, hitting 5-of-12 3-pointers, and Marion scored 22 points as he came back after missing Saturday's loss in Milwaukee with a thigh bruise.

They also got 14 points and 14 rebounds from Chandler, who anchored the paint, and 18 points from Jason Terry, who had his best shooting game in more than a week. "
