Shawn Marion is going to enjoy the All-Star break greatly after having a grueling stretch over the last few weeks when he's had to guard the best opposing perimeter scorer, whether it's a point guard or a small forward or anybody in between.

On Wednesday, it was Kobe Bryant, who had just 15 points on a night when Marion hounded him throughout the game. Bryant also had seven turnovers.

"It takes a lot out of you,'' Marion said. "It hit me in Philly (last week). I was tired. I was beat up. It's not easy trying to contain fast guys and guys who get all the shots. It's definitely tough. I'm not 25 anymore. But I'm going to do what I can.''
