Tomas Hertl will likely miss the Sharks’ prospect scrimmage on Wednesday with a knee injury, general manager Doug Wilson revealed on Tuesday.

Wilson termed the injury as a “little tweak” due to Hertl not having skated in awhile. It wasn’t immediately clear which knee Hertl hurt, but the rookie sensation missed half of the 2013-14 season with torn ligaments in his right knee.

Tickets to the scrimmage are $5, with proceeds going to the Sharks Foundation. Among the expected participants are Matt Nieto, 2013 first round pick Mirco Mueller, and 2014 first rounder Nikolay Goldobin.
