Adam Schefter reports that the Jets have told WR Eric Decker that they plan to release him this week if they cannot find a trade partner.

Decker, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2010. He spent four years in Denver before signing a five-year, $36.25 million contract that included $15 million guaranteed with the Jets as a free agent back in 2014.

Decker stands to make base salaries of $7.25 million and $7.5 million over the remaining two years of the agreement.
