At least Shabazz Muhammad knew the key players on the Pistons roster in a recent interview on Pistons.com.

The UCLA freshman small forward who opted for the draft said he’d be a good fit for the struggling franchise.

“Great fit,” he said in the Pistons.com article. “I love Andre (Drummond). That’s my guy. And Greg (Monroe) and Brandon Knight also, who is a really good point guard. I see myself really fitting well with them. I like the young teams that have bits and pieces and I think I could really learn a lot and come out off the get-go and try to help them out right away.”

While he knows the Pistons roster, his year at UCLA showed that he didn’t learn how to pass to his teammates, a key in the NBA for a potential small forward.
