Michigan State's 2015 recruiting class is getting some punch added late in the game with National Signing Day looming on Feb. 4.

After defensive back Drake Martinez, who spent a redshirt season at Nebraska in 2013 before transferring to Saddleback (Calif.) Community College, announced on Tuesday that he would be finishing his career at Michigan State, a pair of four-star recruits that had committed to Kentucky were next, according to reports.

Twin brothers Andrew and David Dowell of Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward High have both decided they will not go to Kentucky, and according to Scout.com will go to Michigan State. Bill Greene, who covers Ohio recruiting for Scout, reported that the Dowells' father said they would go to Michigan State.

David Dowell (6-1, 180) is a cornerback that is rated a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, Scout.com and 247sports.com, and could play in the secondary or as a wide receiver.
