The Southeastern Conference will not discipline Mississippi State coach Rick Ray following his actions at the end of Saturday's game against Ole Miss, the league office told the Clarion-Ledger on Monday.

Ray spoke with SEC commissioner Mike Slive on Monday morning regarding the head coach using profanity toward an Ole Miss player. Slive was satisfied with the way Ray handled the matter, including his apology via social media on Sunday.

With 6.2 seconds left in Ole Miss' 82-63 win, Ray shouted a profanity at Rebels senior Marshall Henderson. It came after the Ole Miss guard began talking as he walked by the MSU bench.
