Giacomini was one of the nearly 20 Seahawks scheduled to be unrestricted free agents.

According to the contract information on file with the NFL Players Association, Giacomini is scheduled to earn a base salary of $1.5 million in 2012, and $3 million in 2013. According to Brian McIntyre of Mac's Football Blog, Giacomini received a $1.5 million signing bonus."
