Hassan Whiteside has – deservedly – received most of the attention for thriving with the Heat after playing in the D-League.

But he isn’t the only player to do so.

Tyler Johnson, who spent training camp with Miami and then signed two 10-day contracts, has emerged as a key piece of the Heat’s rotation with Dwyane Wade injured.
