The adage in the NBA is it's difficult to beat the same opponent twice in the same week.

The Minnesota Timberwolves weren't paying attention.

Behind Kevin Love's 29 points and 16 rebounds, the Timberwolves handled the Trail Blazers 106-94 Wednesday night at the Target Center.

The victory ended Minnesota's eight-game losing streak at home in the Portland series. Four days earlier, Minnesota had beaten the Blazers 122-110 at the Rose Garden, snapping an overall 16-game skid against Portland dating to 2007.
