"New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham joined Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez and Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward in Indianapolis on Thursday to discuss a special project they took part in this season called "NFL Characters Unite." They were paired with young victims of prejudice and discrimination to inspire them with their own stories of overcoming such obstacles in their youth.

A one-hour documentary on their efforts will air on USA Network on Friday, February 10.

Although Graham said his second NFL season was a hectic one, during which he was being "pulled in all different directions" during a breakout year, he said he didn't hesitate when this project was presented to him."
