"As Tracy Porter ran back the game-clinching interception for the Saints on Sunday night, Chris Duhon started sprinting.
"I ran with him," Duhon, a huge Saints fan who hails from Louisiana, recalled yesterday. "I ran all the way to my mailbox, I did his end zone dance and everything and I just knew that we finally got [the championship]."
Duhon, who said he wanted to wear his Saints jersey to address the media yesterday but didn't get the chance to retrieve it before being swarmed, said the Saints' win was pretty indescribable for him.
"It's been a long time," Duhon said. "We've been through a lot of paper bags and a lot of Aints calls and everything. But for them to finally be on top, words can't explain it. "It's something that the city needed. Something that's going to lift up the city's spirits.""
