The Buffalo Sabres were just trying to play out the season and get some minutes for their younger players. While playing the Boston Bruins Saturday afternoon, the game proved rather costly for the league's last place team. Sabres' top goaltending prospect Matt Hackett was injured when he was crashed into by Bruins defenseman Torey Krug.

Krug was up-ended by Sabres defenseman Jamie McBain on the play and spun before landing on Hackett.
