So after Sunday's Mariners-A's first-half finale at the Coliseum, A's closer Ryan Cook and manager Bob Melvin boarded Felix Hernandez's jet for Kansas City. The traveling party included Cook, his girlfriend, Melvin, Hernandez and Hernandez's family.
"Just a 10-person Gulfstream jet," Cook said.
"I guess," he said. "Sure was beautiful inside."
