"For the past two seasons, the Grizzlies have enjoyed a comfort that came with Zach Randolph bullying the opposition with his bruising style of play in the paint.
But the star power forward was again immobile Wednesday night, sitting at home wearing a brace to help nurse a slight tear in his right medial collateral ligament. The knee injury will sideline Randolph for 6-8 weeks, team doctors announced Wednesday afternoon before the Grizzlies earned a 90-86 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Target Center.
"It's tough," Randolph said in a text message to The Commercial Appeal."
