"So Tony Romo isn't perfect.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback did have three incompletions, and his passer rating was only 148.4. (A perfect rating is 158.3.)
"He's a thing of beauty when you see him," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. "His awareness out there, and his instincts on getting some more time to throw.
"It's really something to see him now, as experienced as he is, having a feel for where not only everybody is but when to take the risk or not. I think you saw that today."
Romo was 23 of 26 for 270 yards with three touchdowns in the Cowboys' 44-7 shellacking of the Buffalo Bills. His completion percentage of 88.5 set a team record.
For the first time since he fractured a rib and punctured a lung in the Week 2 victory over San Francisco, Romo did not wear a protective vest. It was the second consecutive week he didn't have to take a pain-killing shot.
"It is nice being healthy these past couple weeks," Romo said. "The ball usually goes where you are aiming when you are healthy. That helps."
Romo completed his first 13 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns."
