Ricky Romero felt a lot better than the results.

Having missed his last start due to inflammation in the middle finger of his left hand, Romero gave up a three-run home run to Raul Ibanez in the first inning and four runs on six hits over four innings Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies.

"My arm felt great, probably the best it's felt all spring," said a puzzled Romero. "The arm felt great and the finger felt great. I just made that one bad pitch (to Ibanez).

Part of his problem was that he felt too strong.
