Romelu Lukaku will face no further action from the FA for appearing to kick out at Brighton full-back Gaetan Bong during Manchester United's 1-0 win at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils forward was caught on camera lashing out at Bong, aiming two backwards kicks after the ball had been cleared from a corner.

This show of petulance from the striker who has netted only once in his last 10 games was not spotted by the referee, who let play continue ahead of the crucial winner.

The incident was classed as "not seen" by the referee and the the FA's panel of three ex-referees were not unanimous in believing it was violent conduct. All three needed to be in agreement for a charge to be filed.

United went on to beat the Seagulls 1-0 thanks to Lewis Dunk's own goal.
