For the third time this season, Pistons coach John Kuester used playing time to discipline fourth-year combo guard Rodney Stuckey.

Stuckey didn't play in Sunday's 101-90 loss to the Boston Celtics because herefused to re-enter Friday's loss to the Bulls, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

The person, who requested anonymity because the players had not yet been told of the decision, said Stuckey refused to enter the game Friday when asked with 4 minutes remaining.

Kuester didn't shed much light on the situation after the game, only saying it was an "internal matter."

"One of the things that happens is that this is a growing process, and in that growing process he had a slight setback," Kuester said.
