"The Rockies are among the teams gathering medical information on outfielder Grady Sizemore, a three-time All-Star with the Indians before he was slowed by injuries.

Sizemore, 29, underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Oct. 3 to promote healing from a bone bruise that he attempted to play through during the season. Sizemore also underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee after the 2009 season.

Sizemore's agent, Joe Urbon, said Tuesday that the prognosis is good.

"Grady is on schedule to be ready at the start of Spring Training," Urbon said. "He has been working out every day since his Oct. 3 arthroscopy and will be ready to be in the Opening Day lineup next season." "
