With Omer Asik back and every rotation player healthy, the Rockets have a chance to establish a consistent rotation, particularly with the two-centers experiment over. Rockets coach Kevin McHale said he would like to settle on something, rather than change his rotation, based on matchups.

He would not indicate whether he would or whether it would include Asik, but Asik checked in for Howard in the first quarter for the first time since last Wednesday in Philadelphia.

“I think everybody would like to have a rotation they’re comfortable with and guys know when they’re coming in and out of the game,” McHale said. “It helps. We’re still in the process of getting that sorted out. We should be able to settle into a rotation hopefully soon.”
