With rookie Royce White agreeing to report to the NBA Development League, the Rockets on Saturday lifted his suspension to immediately reinstate him to the roster.

White is scheduled to join the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Feb. 11, allowing some time to spend on conditioning.

The Rockets announced they and White had "reached an agreement that addresses the major issues that they have been discussing." The "settlement" was approved by the NBA and National Basketball Players Association.

White and Rockets general manager Daryl Morey were not available for comment.

White thanked the Rockets, NBA, NBPA, Rockets owner Leslie Alexander and Rockets counsel Michael Goldberg, via Twitter.

White had worked out for several days this month with basketball staff intern Derrick Alston, but was suspended Jan. 6, one week after he said he would refuse his assignment to the Vipers. Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said White was suspended "for refusing to provide services as required by his Uniform Player Contract."
