"A day after the Rockets and Jonny Flynn said there are no issues with a hip condition that required surgery last summer, a person with knowledge of the trade talks that brought Flynn to Houston confirmed the deal had been amended because of the injury.
The Rockets received Minnesota's second-round pick next season after the deal was changed Friday. Yahoo! Sports reported Saturday that the Rockets received the extra pick because of concerns team physicians had with Flynn's left hip.
But Friday, the Rockets denied there were any lingering issues with the hip.
"He's fine," Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said Friday. "There are no issues with that."
Morey declined to comment Saturday."
