A miserable Friday night has become Saturday morning. Here’s a no-frills rundown of the Yankees’ injury woes for their bullpen.

1. David Robertson has inflammation in his right shoulder. The condition arose on Friday morning. “It’s just causing me a little discomfort” he said.

He hopes he’ll rest for two or three days. Manager Joe Girardi estimated Robertson could miss five or six days. He did not find out about Robertson’s inflammation until less than two hours before the game. Robertson underwent an MRI when the soreness would not leave his arm during pre-game treatment.

“Last night after the game I was pretty sore when I got in here” he said. “I was really geared up for the game last night. So when I got out there I put a little extra on the ball to make things happen and get outs.”
